Heart disease often goes hand in-hand with depression and anxiety, especially in countries with limited health services. Yet, few patients have access to proper rehabilitation—the kind of support that helps them return to daily life after a heart condition. ACROSS [NIHR205540] is working with partners in Pakistan,
India, and Bangladesh to create a simple, affordable home based delivered rehabilitation programme. It includes exercise, education, and mental health by
providers.
What does it include?
